“Kamisuki Kan” is composed of following areas

We offer you the experience of the traditional craft in Nishijima, “Kami Suki”(Japanese paper making). You can make the one and only original Washi goods, such as lamp shade, fan, tapestry and more.

In this area, you can touch and learn about different papers and explore the world of not only “Washi” but all kinds of paper.

●Share atelier for “Washi” craftsman

It is a sharing factory for “Washi” craftsmen, where they can experiment with new products and techniques. You might encounter the chance to watch the craftsmen making “Washi”.

You can write calligraphy with a brush on the special “Shodo” papers from Nishijima.
