At the Nishijima Washi Village Kamisuki Park, we are offering a limited-time “Knot Uchiwa” papermaking experience from Saturday, July 18 to Monday, August 31.

Why not make a summer-perfect uchiwa fan yourself using Nishijima Washi’s papermaking techniques?

During the experience, you’ll create two knot uchiwa fans—one large and one small. It’s designed to be fun for both parents and children, making it a great way to create summer vacation memories or even for school projects.
