NHK “Tensai Terebi-kun Grow Special Version” Broadcast Announcement
The NHK program will feature local elementary school 5th and 6th graders challenging themselves to create a giant art piece using Nishijima Washi paper.
For this project, Mr. Kasai of Yamaju Paper Co., Ltd. provided full cooperation, and the children added the charm of Yamanashi and the characteristics of Minobu Town to their giant washi paper artwork.
At the end of the project, they powerfully wrote the words “Yamanashi is the best!” in calligraphy, completing a work filled with their love for their region.
