Nishijima Kagura Troupe Broadcast Announcement

The Nishijima Kagura Troupe’s performance of Kagura dance, filmed on April 29th at the Nishijima Washi no Sato Kamisuki Park roadside station, will be broadcast on “Japan’s Festivals 2026.”

Nishijima Kagura, a Yamanashi Prefecture Intangible Folk Cultural Property, has been passed down in the Nishijima area for approximately 450 years.

Please enjoy this traditional performance that has been handed down through generations in the region.
